No, not you, but this has been done.
A man named David did hitch-hike around Europe in his wheelchair ,
He’d sit in his chair on the side of the road with his thumb out.
Drivers were so amazed that they’d stop to give him a lift.
Put the wheelchair in the boot, help him into the front seat and away they’d go.
He found getting a ride easier than an able-bodied person.
He could have made an excuse like, “I’m disabled, I can’t tour Europe”, but he didn’t.
This is what excuses are like.
They stop you doing things you could do.
I have always believed that anything Human could do, any other Human could do.
Maybe not as well, but they could do it at some level.
Your excuses are holding you back .
They’re limiting your belief in yourself, and they are not true .
I understand that some people have physical limitations which are real and not excuses, but I’m not talking about those.
I’m talking about those mental excuses that limit what you can do.
By the way, I’m talking to myself here as well, not just you gentle reader.
I also have limiting beliefs that I call excuses.
I also need to let them go and step up to do more.
Want to join me and step past your false boundaries?

Pretty much every second email was one of those over the last few days.
Unfortunately, a significant number of those were also trying to sell me something “that will make 2025 your best year ever”.
That approach makes the subject line click-bait .
Grrr.
A click-bait subject line will also cause unsubscribes .
Well, they do with me at least.
Anyway, they’ve ended for another year.
I suppose the next flurry will be the Happy Valentines Day sales emails.
They don’t seem to have the same density as the Happy New Year ones.
This does seem to be a trend though, the emails based around a trending topic.
Creating content around a trending topic does work for blog posts, video, podcasts, etc., but I really don’t think it works for email subject lines.
The problem with targeting trends is that often they only last a few days and then no-one is searching for that trend.
You’re better served by targeting evergreen niches and micro-niches.
There’s plenty of them despite so many people focussing on a small handful.
You’ll find a PDF with over 2,500 here https://wmtips.substack.com/p/searching-for-a-profitable-niche .

None of the links work because the domain they are linked through doesn’t exist anymore.
However, I have decided that I should honour the wishes of the author and not charge for the PDFs.
To that end they are included in the membership area but not the paid membership section.
You can download both he PDFs by subscribing to the Substack page as a free member.
Do that here:-
I suggest that if you do want to get as much free traffic as possible to your website then downloading and reading both these books will be an excellent use of your time.
The Internet only works on links.
These books lay out exactly how to get links and visitors for free.
Some of the sites mentioned don’t exist anymore but there are plenty of substitutes for you to use.
It’s the principles that are the most important here, and they remain the same as they were when the books were written.
Remember that some of the methods used were abused by lazy marketers and Google stomped on them at the time.
By making sure that any page you create has useful content for people you will not get a Google stomping.
The big secret seems to be making all pages and mini sites able to stand alone as legitimate pages even though they have links to your main site.
They must have a purpose beyond passing visitors to another website.
Have a read of those books and tell me what you think.

Most affiliate programs work on the last cookie data .
This means that when you send a visitor to a product page via an affiliate link you’ll get the commission as long as yours was the last cookie set.
However, if some other affiliate manages to get their link clicked between yours and the sale they’ll get the commission.
Because theirs was the last cookie set.
Is that fair?
Not always.
If your almost customer has one of the coupon plugins installed in their web browser you could lose the sale to them.
If you’ve sent them to an Amazon product and there is a review video on that page you may lose the sale there.
Can you prevent that?
Not really, but you might be able to reduce the risk.
If you’re offering a bonus for using your link it helps.
If you can find any coupons for the product so they don’t feel the need to check with the plugin you can save the commission.
About the only other thing you can do is get the customer to click your links more often.
These are some of the reasons that many people find affiliate marketing hard.
That is also why some people, fortunately a minority, resort to shady tactics to make money with affiliate marketing.
When you operate a blog your best option for monetising it is to test different affiliate programs, other types of monetisation etc.
Sticking with one product or one method will only work if you get lucky.
As with everything online, testing is the key .
This has a great affiliate program built in for you to use and recruit affiliate with.
Take a good look https://go.wm-tips.com/systeme .

While some domain authority does appear to have an effect on page ranking, the content and links to a page are more important.
͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏
While some domain authority does appear to have an effect on page ranking, the content and links to a page are more important.
As far as I can see the main benefit from having good domain authority is getting a new page indexed faster.
Pages get indexed fast when the Googlebot finds them fast.
When the Googlebot is on your site multiple times a day your new pages will get indexed rapidly.
You can use this to your advantage.
The Googlebot looks for changes to already indexed pages and links to new pages.
You can edit existing pages , slightly, and link to a new site which could be on a sub-domain or a new domain.
Not all sub-domains need to be in the same niche as the main domain because Google sees them as independent sites .
There are many platforms that have sub-domains that are completely independent sites.
WordPress.com has millions of subdomains, Blogger has millions of sub-domains, Google sites has millions of sub-domains, etc.
There are many more, which means that you can have multiple sites on any or all of those platforms.
You can also have multiple sub-domain sites on your own domains for the same reasons.
The other advantage of sub-domains is that you can often get your keywords into the URL , which gives you a small boost in your ranking.
This is how you build a Mini-Net that works to collect visitors from a wide area and funnel them to your main pages.
With a little luck the two books I’m basing 2025’s work on will be in the members area here
, well there will be a link at least as I’m not sure I can upload a PDF to Substack.
Regards, Brent.

I don’t know but probably fewer than I have .
I’ve spent the day watching cricket and attempting to sort out my domains.
I’m not certain that I’ve found them all yet, but I have found 50 so far.
There would be more than that as sub-domains.
The reason for doing this is that it’s part of my business plan for 2025 .
I’m going to follow the information in the books Nothing but Net and Revenge of the Mini-Net.
These are the original blueprints for building an unstoppable traffic machine.
It’s not so much about building a PBN as it is about building multiple small 5 – 10 page websites in the same niche that can stand alone and also link to the main site.
Each page focusses on a single keyword that is not the focus of any other page.
Each site has a tightly grouped set of keywords.
All the keywords are in the same niche which makes linking to the main site a logical thing to do.
You could build a massive site with all of those pages in their own category but building a site like that still concentrates the activity to one domain name.
Diversifying the categories to their own website on their own domain spreads the net wider.
I’ll be using AI extensively to build out the pages and automating as much as I can.
While I won’t be identifying the domain names I will be documenting the activity in the members area here.

Most people will not develop genuine passive income, but some will .
The reason is that most people don’t understand what it is.
Hit songs, best-selling books, real estate, shares in profitable businesses, etc. are all examples of passive income .
Art collections, precious stones or metals, cryptocurrencies, etc. are not .
Those things might grow in value, but they do not produce income .
Your definitions might vary from mine, but as far as I’m concerned passive income is anything that pays money into your account that you don’t have to do anything else for.
Essentially, anything that you’ve done or paid for once that continues to generate an income.
It is possible to create this while you work for a boss, but most people don’t do what’s required.
You can find out more here:-
your-personal-wealth.com .
Yeah, it is safe to visit, but I do need to make it SSL secure now.
Yes, I have followed those rules, and, despite some serious setbacks, they are the reason I’m comfortably retired now.
It all starts with having some cashflow to work with.
That could be a job, a side-hustle, or a business.
Anything that pays you for doing something.
Once you’ve got that established you can get where you want to go by following the steps.

Yep, there have been several fires already which will be blamed on Climate Change when they’re really caused by morons with matches .
Here in South Australia we have a slightly different approach to bushfires to other states and countries.
The two biggest differences are that on days of extreme fire danger the power company can turn of the power to prevent sparks from conductor clashes starting fires.
The second is that water bombers are called in immediately , we don’t wait for the fire to get out of control.
We had a fire started a few days ago about 3 – 4 km from our home.
We were never going to be at risk , but it was nice to see two fixed wing bombers and three helicopter bombers over the fire within 10 minutes of the first alert.
When you treat all fires are high risk you manage the risk better and get a better outcome.
Managing risk is almost always a result of good planning around known events.
You can’t solve a problem before it arrives , and it may never arrive, but you can have a plan in place for how you would deal with it if it does.
This means that when you’re writing out your 2025 business plan you can brainstorm potential problems and their possible solutions.
Then you can ignore them until they occur because you’ll have a game plan.
Are you writing your plan?
I’m working on mine.
This will be an integral part, https://go.wm-tips.com/systeme .

Yep, our house guests will be going home in 7 sleeps.
TBH, it’ll be a relief.
I’m a very quiet person , I like things to be ordered, in their place, tidy, and quiet.
I don’t have the radio or TV going all day unless the cricket is on them I’ll park in my chair for the duration.
When you have two kids under 4 charging around the noise volume is not something that can be controlled.
The older one seems to have only two settings, loud and louder .
The younger one is catching on.
The parents are not tidy people.
There are toys, glasses, mugs, bottles etc. scattered across the kitchen, dining room and lounge.
They have the run of the downstairs family room and that looks like a war zone, but fortunately I don’t have to do anything there for the next 7 days.
Am I complaining?
Not really, I can cope for a week, but longer than that would really get to me.
It’s probably worse because I’m still not well.
It is nice to see them which does include the grandchildren, but you know what I mean about people stomping all over your territory.
It’s no wonder that there are often police called to domestic disputes over the festive season.
Yet we would be unhappy if we didn’t have family around during this time of year.
So, suck it up Brent, this will probably be the last year they stay with us as they’re relocating to their Adelaide home at the end of 2025.
I hope all your celebrations or relaxations are going well and you’ll be nicely refreshed to get motivated for the new year.
